Co-op Members will officially be able to support The Monday Night Club as part of the Local Community Fund. The funding round will start Sunday 24 October 2021 and will run for 12 months until 22 October 2022.

When members buy selected Co-op branded products and services, 1p from every pound spent goes to support local causes like ours.
The club members really hope that people will visit the Co-op website, or download the Co-op app, and select MNC Saturday Kitchen as their Local Community Fund cause so we can continue making a difference.
MNC Saturday Kitchen
With the funds raised we want to continue to run our weekly community kitchen for adults with learning disabilities and / or autism. We teach them how to cook and follow a healthy diet to improve their health and wellbeing.

MNC Saturday Kitchen brings people with learning disabilities together every Saturday to learn how to cook healthy and affordable food, enjoy a meal together and talk about improving health and mental health. We will turn single ingredients into tasty, delicious and nutritious meals. We also teach about good food, whole foods and why different foods are good for you, or not so good.
The last 18 months have been really challenging for small, charitable groups like the MNC. The pandemic has drastically affected fundraising efforts, so to have this partnership with the local Co-op will really benefit us. The Monday Night Club are urging local Co-op members to choose them as their local cause so they can help more people with learning disabilities in Worcester recover from the pandemic. Thank you!
